Amy Sherman and Julie Peebles are the compelling musical force known as the Mickeys. Identical twins, this striking twosome blends Americana, Country, Celtic, Blues and Folk music; creating a unique acoustic sound with unbeatable vocals. The Mickeys have enjoyed many accomplishments in their career. They formed their own record label (RiverBeat Music), co-produced (with John Albani) and recorded two CDs - Finding Our Way and Walk Along - and secured nationwide distribution for the first record. The sisters co-wrote five of the project's eleven tracks on Finding Our Way and performed all vocals. Moreover, it's the vocals that shine on this freshman offering; bell-like clarity weaves with shimmering harmonies, creating a magic that is palpable. Now, as they release their second CD, Walk Along, the twins are excited to see what lies ahead on their musical path. The sisters co-wrote nine of the eleven tracks and performed all vocals. This sequel offering features the same breathtaking harmonies as their debut, with an added depth to the lyrical content. The first Chapter in the Mickeys' book of dreams included a global press and radio campaign in support of Finding Our Way - which resulted in two European tours.
